Attorney Katie Meyer

About Me

Katie Meyer is an experienced immigration lawyer, working at the Bleisch Law Firm. Her practice areas include family-based immigration, refugee and asylum law, naturalization law, removal (deportation) defense, and legal protections for immigrant victims. She has presented trainings on various aspects of immigration and refugee law and policy, and has served as an immigration expert on discussion panels and in media interviews. She has taught Immigration Law and Policy, as an Adjunct Professor, at Washington University School of Law. Until 2009, she was the Legal Director at Interfaith Legal Services for Immigrants, where she managed the agency’s legal programs and served as a field supervisor for students in the Washington University clinical program. She previously worked as Staff Attorney at Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, and interned in Senator Edward Kennedy’s Immigration Subcommittee’s Office.
