Attorney Matt McClenahen

About Me

Matt M. McClenahen is a criminal defense lawyer in State College Pennsylvania. A high percentage of his clients are college students. He handles cases ranging from serious felonies like drug deliveries and aggravated assault to summary offenses like underage drinking, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. Attorney McClenahen was previously certified to handle death penalty cases pursuant to requirements established by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, however, he voluntarily allowed his cetification to lapse, as he would have been the only non-public defender certified to handle death penalty cases in Centre County. This would have all but assured that he would be appointed to every death penalty case in which the public defenders office had a conflict of interest.
